Hungary
Hungary, right in the heart of Europe is hands down one of the coolest places you'll visit. It's all about indulging in goulash and chicken paprikash, grabbing a drink, and soaking in Hungary's friendly vibes. Budapest has some of the best ruin bars, relaxing thermal spas, and of course, the stunning Danube River. But don't skip out on the rest of the country, there's Lake Balaton and charming towns like Eger to explore.

Budapest
Budapest is a darling of a city. It's buzzing, lively, and pretty similar to Prague but better I think. Getting around Budapest is easy, it's such a walkable city, and the transit systems here are efficient. I ate my body weight in goulash and chicken paprikash. This is essential of course.
Starting off on a high note, we caught a panoramic view of the city with a ride on the Ferris Wheel. It was a cool 10 minutes. We cruised around on scooters to the Buda Castle and then jumped on a mini-bus to the top. The views from there were even better. This castle dates back to the 1700s and should definitely be on everyone's bucket list for their first time here.
We hit up Szimpla Kert, one of the sickest spots I've been to. It's the OG ruin bar in Budapest, the one that started it all. It's a massive, rundown building with a chill courtyard, rooms decked out with funky furniture, lots of dope art, and fairy lights. DJs keep the vibe alive. Drinks were pricey as heck though.
We also checked out the Great Market Hall, the inside was impressively huge with cool neo-gothic architecture. After browsing the upper floor for souvenirs, we finished with some authentic Hungarian cuisine.
Budapest is blessed with spa waters. We kicked back in the Széchenyi Baths, which kept us healthily entertained most of the day, this is the classic Budapest experience. However, they were packed like sardines.
And finally, we brought our Budapest journey to an unforgettable close and headed to Sziget Festival. Sziget Festival is Europe's biggest music festival, pulling in almost half a million people every year. We got a one day pass just to see our girl Dua, and it was phenomenal.
